Axis Bank has also joined the trend of increasing fixed deposit interest rates for customers of various tenures. The FD rate has been raised by 25 basis points for deposits of less than 2 crore with maturities of 6 months to less than 7 months, and 8 months to less than 9 months. The new rates will go into effect on July 16, 2022. Many banks, including SBI, IDBI Bank, DBS Bank, and Canara Bank, have raised their FD interest rates, making them more appealing to customers.

Furthermore, the rate is 3.50 percent for maturities ranging from 3 to less than 6 months. The bank offers a 4.40 percent rate on 7 months to less than 8 months tenure, while senior citizens receive a 4.65 percent rate on this tenure.
Meanwhile, regular customers can get 4.75 percent on terms ranging from 9 months to less than a year, while senior citizens get 5%.
On tenures of 1 year to less than 1 year 11 days, the interest rate is 5.45 percent for the general category and 6.10 percent for senior citizens.
The bank offers 5.75 percent on 1 year 11 days less than 1 year 25 days, and 5 years to 10 years. The rate is 6.40 percent for senior citizens with 1 year 11 days less than 1 year 25 days tenure and 6.50 percent for those with 5 to 10 years tenure.
Axis Bank offers a 5.60 percent general rate and a 6.25 percent senior citizen rate on tenures ranging from 1 year 25 days to less than 2 years. Furthermore, the bank offers 5.70 percent and 6.35 percent on terms ranging from 2 years to less than 5 years.
