Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Portfolio: Billionaire investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has reduced his stake in Indiabulls Housing Finance Limited by more than 0.1 percent, according to the company’s June 2022 quarter shareholding pattern on the BSE.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala now holds 55,00,000 equity shares worth 1.17 percent of Indiabulls Housing Finance in the June quarter, down from 60,00,000 equity shares worth 1.28 percent in the March 2022 quarter, according to the firm’s shareholding patterns.
Indiabulls Housing Finance shares have underperformed the market in the last year, falling nearly 66% versus a 6% rise in the Sensex. The stock reached a 52-week high of Rs 297.7 per share almost a year ago and a 52-week low of Rs 89 per share on June 7, 2022.
According to the stock analysis website trendlyne.com, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, known as the Big Bull of the Indian stock market, publicly holds 32 stocks with a net worth of more than Rs 29,748.8 crore as of July 23, 2022.
Aside from Indiabulls Housing, the renowned investor has reduced stakes in Tata Group companies Tata Motors, DB Realty, and NCC Limited, among others, and has re-entered auto company stock Escorts Kubota Limited during the June 2022 quarter, according to their respective shareholdings.
According to trendlyne.com, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has invested over Rs 55 crore in the company for 55 lakh shares. According to their respective shareholding patterns, the investor has maintained positions in as many as 19 stocks while reducing stakes in four stocks to less than 0.1%.
The stock fell nearly 1% to Rs 100.45 per share on the BSE on Friday, compared to a 0.7% rise in the BSE Sensex.
