Danny Green, a three-time NBA Champion, was traded by the Philadelphia 76ers and Memphis Grizzlies.

The seasoned guard has won championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, and Toronto Raptors.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Philadelphia 76ers reached an agreement on a deal including three-time NBA Champion Danny Green at the NBA Draft.

Shams Charania of The Athletic first reported on the change.

In exchange for DeAnthony Melton, the 76ers gave Memphis the 23rd overall pick in the draught along with Green.

On Twitter, Green thanked the 76ers for his time there.

Green: "PHILLY…THANK YOU!!! It’s been real To my brothers, we will always be family…the organization, coaching staff, medical staff, front office, and owners I’ll always appreciate you and everything you’ve done for me….LOVE"

He achieved back-to-back victories in 2019 and 2020. (with Toronto in 2019 and Los Angeles in 2020).

He spent his entire career playing for San Antonio (2010–2017).
