Serena Williams just finished her final match in Canada, the National Bank Open in Toronto, and it was an emotional roller coaster.

Williams faced Belinda Bencic in her first match since announcing her retirement from tennis on Wednesday night and lost 6-2, 6-4

Williams discussed her love for the Sixers and her recent announcement that she is retiring to spend more time with her family

"It's been a pretty interesting 24 hours," Williams said after admitting that she wished she had done better in her match against Bencic

"You know, it's just been so memorable. I'm terrible at saying goodbye, as I mentioned in my [Vogue] article

 but, uh... Goodbye, Toronto!" Williams began to cry as she spoke.
