The Tampa Bay Buccaneers believe in Leonard Fournette and re-signed him to a three-year, $21 million contract earlier this offseason.
However, according to a Tampa Bay Times report, Bucs coaches were unhappy with Fournette's weight this offseason.
"Coaches were not happy, and that's an understatement," Rick Stroud said, "when (Fournette) didn't participate in the OTAs
but then he shows up at the mandatory minicamp weighing damn near 260 [pounds].
"And that's not a good sign for a guy you just signed a three-year deal with."
Hopefully, Fournette will be able to get back into shape before the start of the regular season.
